Would you love to know some simple RV bathroom accessories that will make your necessities easily accessible while saving space?
When we first moved into our small teardrop camper and started using the bathroom space, we definitely needed some additions to access items effortlessly and keep odors away.
Here are several items you will want to have.

Trying to find space in an RV bathroom, keeping things dry, keeping items from falling during travel days, keeping odors away, and more are all issues we face as RVers. I am sharing the simple RV bathroom accessories we use to solve these common problems in our camper.
This post is all about simple RV bathroom accessories that will help any RV owner manage some common issues with RV bathroom spaces.
Simple RV Bathroom Accessories

1. RV Soap Dispenser
A separate hand soap dispenser by your RV bathroom sink is a necessity. Ideally, you want a lightweight, plastic, and relatively cheap rv soap dispenser. We chose the dispenser shown above for those reasons and used small 3M Command Strips to secure it to the countertop so it stays in place on travel days. Even if it were to fall, at least it’s plastic and will likely not shatter, and it’s cheap to replace if it does break!
Here are a few similar soap dispensers that fit the same criteria:
2. RV Toothbrush Holder
The same rules apply to choosing a toothbrush holder that works better in an RV. You want something light, easy to clean, and clear plastic is fantastic to see through when it needs to be cleaned. We also used the small 3M Command Strips to secure our toothbrush holder to the countertop so we don’t have to move it on travel days.
We picked our toothbrush holder up at Walmart on our first trip out of necessity. The top pops right off to clean inside.

3. RV Shower Soap Holder
Typical RV bathrooms don’t have separate soap holders in the shower and they are seriously a necessity. Since we have a wet bath, we initially had nowhere to put our soap bar where we could get to it without moving the shower curtain or putting it somewhere that it would constantly get wet and waste the soap. The soap holder keeps our soap bar right where we can get to it, but out of the way of the water. We grabbed ours from Home Depot several weeks into our first RV trip.
When you go to purchase yours, look for one that is aluminum or stainless steel so it will not rust over time.

4. RV Quick Dry Bath Towels
Quick dry bath towels are must-have RV bathroom accessories; specifically the microfiber type. They take up much less space, dry fast, and absorb water extremely well. These quick dry towels are also portable if you enjoy going to the beach, boating, to the gym, and all sorts of other activities. We started with only two large microfiber towels but picked up two more along our first trip. It was wonderful to have a backup set between laundry days.
We purchased our “Sea to Summit” brand towels at a few different sporting goods stores, but here are a few similar products with great reviews, and also cheaper.

5. RV Shower Squeegee
A squeegee for your shower is a must-have. The leveling on your RV might affect the way the shower slopes and drains or in general the shower floor does not slope to the drain, leaving extra standing water after a shower. Keeping extra moisture and humidity under control is important and getting all the shower water down the drain is one way to help alleviate that.
Here are some squeegees with excellent reviews that would make a great addition to your RV bathroom accessories:

6. RV Bathroom Rug
Every bathroom needs a rug including your RV bathroom. Ideally, you will want one made from a lightweight and quicker drying material. Those qualities will make the rug easy to hand or machine wash as needed and also easy to put away if you have a small camper like we do. Our favorite rug for our RV bathroom is soft and almost like a microfiber-style cloth. We got ours at Target and also used the same ones in our home.
Here are some nice rugs that are similar to what we use:

7. RV Bathroom Air Freshener
We love the Febreeze Small Spaces air fresheners for our RV bathroom. You can find them almost anywhere, they fit almost anywhere and don’t need to be plugged into an electrical outlet. They have a nice variety of scents as well.
